Jorj's Tip
Chill everything in advance—the Champagne, the gin, the glasses, even the lemon juice if you have time. A French 75 should be sparkling cold from the first sip to the last. For effortless entertaining, mix the gin, lemon juice, and simple syrup several hours ahead and refrigerate. When your guest arrives, simply shake with ice, top with Champagne, and serve.
Make It Your Own
• Palm Beach 75: Add ½ ounce passion fruit purée for a tropical twist.
• French 76: Substitute premium vodka for the gin.
• Rosé 75: Use sparkling rosé in place of Champagne.
• Elderflower 75: Replace half the simple syrup with St-Germain® elderflower liqueur.
• Nonalcoholic 75: Use a botanical zero-proof spirit and nonalcoholic sparkling wine or sparkling lemonade.
