Preparation
- In a large pitcher, combine lemon juice, Lavender Simple Syrup, and cold water. Stir well and refrigerate until thoroughly chilled.
- To serve, fill each Champagne flute about one-third full with the Lavender Lemonade.
- Slowly top with sparkling wine and garnish with a lemon wheel and a sprig of fresh lavender. Add a few fresh berries or edible flowers for an elegant spring finish. Serve immediately.
Notes
Nonalcoholic Garden Sparkler
For guests who prefer not to drink alcohol, simply replace the sparkling wine with chilled sparkling water, club soda, or a nonalcoholic sparkling wine.
The result is every bit as festive.
Jorj's Tip
Prepare the Lavender Lemonade up to two days in advance and refrigerate. Just before guests arrive, pour it into a glass beverage dispenser or crystal pitcher and keep the sparkling wine well chilled. Guests can build their own Mimosa at your Mimosa Bar, choosing fresh berries, edible flowers, mint sprigs, or additional citrus garnishes.
