Crackers
- 1 sleeve soda crackers, about 3 dozen
- 4 tablespoons butter, melted, ½ stick
- 1 tablespoon dried oregano flakes
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 1 tablespoon poppy seeds
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
Dip
- ½ red bell pepper, seeded and diced, about ½ cup
- 1 small carrot, peeled, trimmed and diced, about ¼ cup
- ½ small red onion, peeled and diced, about ¼ cup
- 1 celery rib, diced, about 2 tablespoons
- 2 green onions, diced, about 2 tablespoons
- 2 large garlic cloves, peeled and minced, about 1 tablespoon
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh dill
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
- 1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, room temperature
- ½ cup sour cream
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 2 to 4 drops hot pepper sauce
Instructions
Dip
- Preheat the oven to 350°. Lay the crackers on a parchment lined baking sheet.
- Brush the crackers with butter.
- Mix together oregano, garlic and onion powder, poppy and sesame seeds in a small bowl.
- Sprinkle the seasoning over the crackers.
- Bake until the crackers are golden, about 4 to 5 minutes.
- Cool to room temperature.
- Place the veggies, herbs, cream cheese, and sour cream into the bowl of a food processor.
- Pulse to combine.
- Season with salt, pepper, and as much hot sauce as you prefer.
- Spoon the dip into a bowl and serve alongside the seasoned crackers.
