Merry Christmas to All: A Good Night and a Great Year
This December, I am reminded that yes, it is the most wonderful time of the year—and it’s because of family, friends, and all of you. My little food blog at Jorj.com brings me joy 365 days a year. Every Monday, I get to tell a story and bring you with me. I’ve been writing cookbooks forever, and I thank you for being the most important part of my journey as an author.
A Good Night!
Looking back on 2018, my heart is absolutely full. I couldn’t live my dreams without you, and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for following along. I promise amazing things in the year 2019—let’s continue our kitchen adventures and see where the yummy road takes us next.
2018: A Year in Review
- New Beginnings: A fifth grandchild is on the way, adding another chair to our family table.
- Giving Back: Teaching cooking classes in Boone and serving hungry souls at the Hospitality House.
- The Voyage: Tasting the bright, coastal flavors of Italy’s Sorrento and the Amalfi Coast.
- The Creative Spark: Sue and I finally launching Canvas and Cuisine to honor Marti and Wayne Huizenga.
Dude, We're on a Dude Ranch!
The Yummy Road Ahead
From the cobblestones of Italy to the wide-open ranges of Montana, this year has been a testament to the fact that food and travel are the ultimate connectors. Whether we were glamping under the Big Sky or testing recipes for our "kitchen table book," the goal has always remained the same: to find inspiration in the fresh and the local.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all! Let's see where the road takes us in 2019.
